What is a professional learning community and mentor new teacher program? What are the benefits and challenges to having a professional learning community and mentoring a new teacher program in an educational setting? Which one would benefit you more in your first year of teaching?

The candidate will complete 3 Discussions in this course. The candidate will post one thread of 

at least 300 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Thursday of the assigned Module: Week. The 

candidate must then post 2 replies of at least 150 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of the 

assigned Module: Week. For each thread, candidates must support their assertions with at least 2 

scholarly citations in current APA format. Each reply must incorporate at least 1 scholarly 

citation in current APA format. Acceptable sources include textbooks, the Bible, and other 

scholarly sources.
